Teaching Staff Training

There are two options open to Academic (Teaching) staff:

  1. Mobility of teaching staff going to an enterprise/private
  2. The purpose is to allow the beneficiaries to learn by transfer of knowledge or expertise and to acquire practical skills. The activities can include; language training, seminars, workshops, courses and conferences. Formal periods of practical training, short secondments should account for the majority of the activities.

  3. Mobility of teaching staff in a higher education institution going to a partner institution for the purpose of receiving training. As at 1 above the activities may include language training, seminars workshops, courses and conferences. These activities should not account for the majority of the training activities carried out.

The minimum duration of staff training mobility is 5 days (one working week) and a maximum of 6 weeks. Staff are able to undertake visits from 1st July 2011 to 31st July 2012. All mobility must be completed by 31st July 2012.

Academic staff wishing to undertake a training period at either private enterprise or a partner institution are requested to submit a Staff Training application form and a short training programme endorsed by the Dean/Head of School.
