Non Teaching Staff Training

Mobility of administrative and other non-teaching staff from a higher education institution going to a partner higher education institution.

• The purpose is to allow the beneficiaries to learn from the experiences and good practices of a partner institution and to improve the skills required for their current job. The main activity is a short stay in the partner institution that can be covered with a variety of terms: short secondment period, job-shadowing scheme, study visit, etc.

The minimum duration of staff training mobility is 1 week and a maximum of 6 weeks. Staff are able to undertake visits from 1st July 2011 to 31st July 2012 (inclusive). All mobility must be completed by 31st July 2012.

A training period can either be taken at one of the HEI’s we currently have an agreement with or at an HEI which currently holds the EUC (Erasmus University Charter).

Non-Teaching staff wishing to undertake a visit to an exchange partner institution are requested to submit a staff training application form and a short training programme endorsed by the Dean/Head of School (see forms to be completed below).

Mobility grants for all staff are provided as contributions towards both subsistence and travel (see funding below).
