Research

Teaching staff in Environmental Science at Dundee conduct front-line research in the hydrosphere, ecosphere, cryosphere, and lithosphere. Members of the Environmental Science programme routinely publish in the top international journals, and have attracted the highest ratings in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise. Our research is rated overall as "Internationally Excellent" and a significant part of this as "World-Leading" by the national Geography & Environmental Studies and the Biological Sciences panels.
