Literary Salons have become an important part of our developing creative life here at Dundee - and are a great way to meet leading writers, publishers and agents from all over the UK, ask them questions about their work and writing practice and get top tips and advice about how to develop your own literary career.
The Dundee Literary Festival is a combination of workshops, readings and informal talks by national and internationally renowned authors. Previous participants have included Alan Warner, Brian Johnstone, James Robertson, Jackie Kay and Norman Watson (2010), Kenneth Steven, GJ Moffat, Russel D McLean, Sheila Stewart, Hardeep Singh Kohli and Pauline McLynn (2009), and William Boyd, Douglas Dunn, Ian Rankin, and Rosamunde and Robin Pilcher (2008).
