MLitt/PGDip Gender, Culture and Society

as part of the MLitt in Humanities with Specialisation

This taught postgraduate course offers specialist interdisciplinary study within English, Fine Art, History and Philosophy. It brings together modules addressing gender from 1600 to the present in the UK and Europe.

In common with all of the taught postgraduate courses offered within the Humanties with Specialisation degree pathway, the Philosophy and Literature MLitt/PGDip has a common structure.  Students must take HU51003: Approaches to Gender Culture and Society and either HU51001: Applying Critical and Cultural Theory or HY2006: History Skills and Sources, one more optional module approved by the module organiser, plus HU52004: Dissertation [GCS] (core for the MLitt).
