Arts Review Magazine Launch
The English programme is launching a new online arts review magazine, DURA or Dundee University Review of the Arts, on Wednesday 19 September, at 4pm in Baxter 1.36.
DURA will review fiction, poetry, art exhibitions, films and theatre, and also contain guest slots for interviews of writers, publishers, opinion pieces etc.
The first "issue" includes reviews of summer and current exhibitions and films at the DCA, "The Mill Lavvies" at the Rep, poetry from flipped eye publishing, Salmon press, Birlinn and fiction from Polygon, Peepal Tree Press and Faber, and an interview with the well-known Egyptian writer, Ahdaf Soueif.
We also have an arts bulletin column, and invite notices of events.
The site, www.dura-dundee.org.uk, will be "live" on 19 September. All enquires to enquires@dura-dundee.ac.uk.
