AHRC Postgraduate Funding, 2010-2011

For those level 4 and MLitt English students who may be interested in pursuing postgraduate research either at Masters or Doctoral level in the English Programme, and who are considering applying for Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) funding, the deadline for submission of your completed applications to, in the first instance, the Programme, is Friday 19 February 2010.

Only three applications to the AHRC for postgraduate funding may be submitted from the English programme to the School for consideration. Any student interested in pursuing postgraduate research at Dundee should consult as soon as possible either one of their module tutors or the English Programme Postgraduate Officer for semester 2, Dr Keith Williams (email k.b.williams@dundee.ac.uk).

Any student considering postgraduate work at another institution should contact their admissions unit now to ascertain what their procedures are for selecting students for AHRC funding.

Completed application forms should be submitted to Jennifer Byers in the English Office. The English Programme will then hold an internal selection process to decide which three applications it will forward to the College of Arts and Social Sciences Office.
