Carnegie-Cameron Taught Post-Graduate Bursaries
The Carnegie Trust has awarded the University of Dundee 8 bursaries for 2009-10. Each bursary amounts to the equivalent of the standard home fee (£3315 in 2008/09) and can be applied to any year-long taught PG degree programme.
Applicants must be Scottish by birth, parentage or by residence over a period of 3 years for the purpose of secondary or tertiary education.
The award can only be applied to a year-long taught postgraduate degree programme. However, it is permissible that the 'one year' course be taken on a part time study basis over two consecutive years.
Criteria for awarding the money coincide with the qualities envisaged by Andrew Carnegie - that the candidate be qualified and deserving, industrious and ambitious and that the candidate would derive particular benefit from a one-year, taught, postgraduate degree which he or she would be unlikely to enjoy without the award.
The internal closing date is 31 July. To apply, please download and complete the application form in RTF format or PDF format, and return it to:
