Disability Support

We positively welcome students with disabilities and have a strong commitment to providing the facilities necessary for individual students.

The word 'disability' covers a very wide range of conditions, from serious handicaps to quite minor ailments: if you think that you might come into this category, however slightly, please let us know. Even if your condition is one which scarcely ever causes you problems, it is sensible to inform us of its existence. Every effort will be made to ensure that the student has sufficient access to all teaching provision, and staff will take due account of students' disabilities as regards both teaching and assessment.

The University and the English programme can help and support those with disabilities. Please visit the Disability Support website for further information.

Current students can find out more about disability support, including details of our Disability Support Officer (DSO), in the English Handbook. Access is open to users within the Dundee campus.
