Mr Rob Watt retired from English in December 2007 and is now an Honorary Research Fellow.

and many articles, particularly on corruption in the text of Shakespeare and on the poetry of Hopkins, Larkin, and Heaney.

He is the creator of The Web Concordances, Electronic Editor of the journal English, and a Fellow of the English Association.

His text analysis software Concordance, now in its 3rd version, has users in 59 countries.

In 2004-5 he was Visiting Fellow at the Institute of English Studies in the School of Advanced Study, University of London, collaborating with Professor Brian Vickers and others on the first complete edition of the Works of the Caroline dramatist John Ford.
