Research Interests
- Optical and Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy
- Semiconductors Nanostructures
- Photorefractive Materials
Recent Research Projects
- Study of defects in ferroelectric materials using Electron Magnetic Resonance (EMR) techniques.
- Characterization of photorefractive bismuth sillenite (Bi12MO20: M= Si, Ge, Ti) single crystals using Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) and optical spectroscopic techniques. The aim of this work was to identify and characterize the nature of impurity atom defects and other optically active centres and when possible to correlate them with the optical properties in order to unravel the photorefractivity mechanism.
- Investigation of spin polarization dynamics (the spin relaxation time, the lifetime and the initial degree of spin polarization) in doped and non-doped GaAs semiconductors using femtosecond Time Resolved Photoluminescence Laser Spectroscopy.
Journal Papers
