Applied Optical Manipulation Group

Welcome to the Applied Optical Manipulation Group. We are based in the Electronic Engineering and Physics Division at the University of Dundee. We work on a range of topics associated with optical tweezers technology. These include the optical manipulation of aerosols, topics in microfluidics, holographic beam shaping, properties of light beams and biophotonics. The group is headed by David McGloin.

If you are interested in joining the group you will also find information about potential jobs, PhD studentships, undergraduate research, opportunities for school pupils and collaborative and training visits.
