Shaolin Wang

Shaolin Wang received her Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Dundee in 2010. She is a SIRE Research Fellow in Health Economics. Shaolin has previously worked as a Research Assistant on a number of research projects in health service research and on the health workforce.

Shaolin's research interests are Health Economics, Labour Economics, Applied Econometrics and Economic Evaluation. She has studied extensively economic influences on the migration decision of health professionals and their impacts on the host country in terms of service delivery and retention. Currently, she is working on economic evaluations of healthcare interventions using NHS administrative data. Member of Dundee Health Economics Group.
