Paul T. Seaman

Paul T. Seaman graduated with an MA in Economics from the University of Glasgow, an MSc in Economics from the Scottish Graduate Programme in Economics based at the University of Glasgow, and a PhD from the University of Aberdeen. He came to the University of Dundee in 1995 and is now a Lecturer.

Paul's research interests include:

• The economics of welfare reform   
• Regional economics and UK devolution
• Labour economics
• The economics of education

Paul is currently working on:

• Reform of the free school mean and Child Benefit systems
• Workless households and child educational development
• The effects of Scottish and Welsh devolution
