Martin Jones graduated with a BA from Leicester University in 1991. He went to University of East Anglia where he gained his MA and PhD in Economics. From 1995 he has worked as a research officer at Oxford, Newcastle and Sheffield Universities before becoming a Lecturer at Dundee in October 2000.

Research
Martin's research interests are based in the areas of decision theory and experimental economics.He has done work on biases in learning and ambiguity and has also looked at the cultural determinants of behaviour in the Ultimatum Game experiment. He has also done some research into the methodology of experimentation with particular interest in the issue of understanding and the autonomy of experiments from theoretical investigation.
