Economic Studies student 'highly commended' in British Council's International Student Awards

Fourth year Business Economics with Marketing and Politics student, Fahd Asif, was one of only 36 students to be 'highly commended' in the British Council's Shine! International Student Awards 2011. The British Council launched the Awards in 2002 to celebrate the achievements of international students studying in the UK. The competition attracted more than 1200 entries in 2011, with students asked to write a 'letter home' highlighting how their experiences and newly acquired skills have either enhanced their personal development, boosted their career prospects or helped them to achieve their ambitions.
