“By creating we think, by living we learn” Patrick Geddes
Dr. Carlo Morelli presented a paper in The 5th Economic History Seminar which is held by the Uruguayan Economic History Association, 23-25 November 2011 at the Social Sciences Faculty in Montevideo. His paper was entitled "Between Competition & Industrial Policies: Managing industrial transformation in the Dundee jute industry 1948-1999". Whilst in Uruguay, Dr. Morelli was interviewed for the paper El Pueblo de Salto about his research into the effects of government support for the Jute industry.
