Dr Paul Seaman nominated for DUSA Student Led Teaching Award in
"Most Inspired Teaching of Postgraduates" category
Dr Paul Seaman (Department of Economic Studies, School of Business) was nominated for a Dundee University Students Association (DUSA) 2012 Student Led Teaching Award. Students from his HRM Strategies and International HRM modules nominated him in the "Most Inspired Teaching of Postgraduates" category. Speaking after the award ceremony Paul said "Although I did not win the award it was an honour to be nominated by my students. It really does mean a lot. But the truth of the matter is that the main contribution to making these modules as successful as they were came from the students themselves - their motivation and commitment, their academic ability and most of all their intellectual curiosity made teaching on the modules a pleasure and a privilege for me. I wish all of them the greatest success in the careers ahead of them. The encouragement and support I have received from my colleagues has reinforced the fact that enhancing the student learning experience lies at the heart of what we do. I would also like to thank DUSA for putting on a really great event - and in so doing providing us with every incentive to put in our best effort to get an invite again next year."
