Visit to Bangalore and Ahmedabad

A delegation from the British Council's Education Scotland UK visited Bangalore and Ahmedabad this summer, in order to raise awareness of Scottish education offerings and to build partnerships to improve Scotland's future business prospects. Dr Carlo Morelli of the division of Economic Studies was one of the accompanying academics. The trip strengthened the collaborative aspects of his research into the history of the Jute industry in Dundee and India, where Ahmedabad continues to be one of India's main textile producing areas
