Biography
The purpose of my contemporary Jewellery is to encourage people to explore the designs and their wearability. This breaks with traditional and conventional concepts of why, how and where something is worn. The aim is to give people the confidence to wear one of the designs in a less conventional and traditional way.
Jewellery that incorporates touch and movement and creating a sense of intimacy. Mechanical tactile qualities incorporating fittings and fastenings that add movement to a continual piece, which swivels to different positions. Adding authentic and inventive work, putting design at the front of functional.
The intention of my Contemporary Jewellery is to evoke the desire; capture the playful intimacy that people will be encouraged to explore, pushing the boundaries within the work and in themselves.
