Will I be employable at the end of the course?

You bet! We’re one of the world’s best product design courses specialising in the sensitive and relevant application of technology to meet consumer and society needs.

Female or Male – who do you want?

We don’t care! It’s not often I say that… I do care,  but not about your gender, race, social background, whether you are prefer engineering to art or design to technology. We care about you  - we want you to be open, passionate, tolerant and super keen to be a product designer.

I’ve heard you work your students pretty hard – is this true?

That’s up to you! Yes, we do have an environment that wants to get the full potential out of you. Yes, we do cover a wide range of skills from understanding people, coding circuits, building models, rendering CAD, and evaluating yourself. This will be challenging. It will be intensive at points. In fact it will feel pretty much like hard work at times. But overall, our students are happy, confident and eager to get the feet into the employment market.

Ives or Dyson?

Ah, that’s up to you… the people we’re inspired by are Gillian Crampton Smith (go on google her), Richard Banks, Lynsey Duncan,  Dean Brown,  Anab Jain, Bill Gaver, Tom Metcalfe, Eilidh Dickson,  Andrew Ross… and a whole lost of other people we’ve worked with and taught over the years… oh yeah and of course Ives and Dyson!
