  • Artist Books
  • Photography (digital or chemical)
  • Sculpture

  • Time-based art and Digital Film

Teaching will be provided on a tutorial basis from academic staff, all of whom are professional artists.

In addition, each student will take a general two-semester module entitled ‘Applying Critical and Cultural Theory’.

Every student will take a combination of studies that includes both art and humanities, on a 1/3 to 2/3 weighting. For example, Option A leads to a creative output, such as an exhibition at the end of the degree. Option B leads to a substantial written
dissertation. Each student tailors the choice of studies to suit her/his particular interests, with the help of an academic advisor.

3 semesters of intensive study are required for full-time students, though part-time study is available over two years.
PhD studies are also offered in this faculty, and it may be that some students chose to continue their work on a doctoral level.
