Craft Town Scotland Studios & Mixed Exhibition

Established by local residents, Craft Town Scotland is based on the North Ayrshire coast overlooking the isle of Arran.  Six craft studios are open to the public, with work for sale directly from the makers:

Studio 24: Marion E Kane, Silversmith & Jeweller

Studio 30: Lilith Green, “Old Maiden Aunt”, Hand painter of yarns and fibres

Happyhills Studios: Eileen Bell, “McHattie”, Hand-knitted & felted textiles and Julia Armstrong, “Couture Darling”, Bespoke Millinery

Studio 117: Lorna Reid, “Chookiebirdie”, Hand-stiched contemporary textiles

Arthur Street, Virgil Bauzys, “Hastingwood Basket Works”, functional basket weaving

“The Gallery, Happyhills” retail area displays and sells a range of ceramics, glass, jewellery and textiles from emerging and established makers, including Julia Smith, ceramics, Islay and Sarah Spalding, jewellery, and Donna Smith Designs, felted jewellery & textiles.
