The Printmaking Workshop offers a range of resources from large format ink jet printing to water-based screen printing.
Digital: ink-jet printing and computer imaging – Epson 9600 printer, Macs and scanner for large-format printing on film etc. for separations for screen, lithography and large-format printing on various materials.

Metal Fabrication Workshop
The Metal fabrication workshop has an extensive range of metal working facilities including:
- treble guillotine
- sheet metal rollers
- box and pan folder
- pedestal drill
- sand blasting cabinet
- MIG, MMA, Oxyacetylene and spot welding equipment
The casting facility for rubber-mould making, low-heat metal casting and wax casting includes a plaster room, resin room and a kiln. White metals, bronze and iron casting takes place through organized visits to the purpose-built foundry at the Scottish Sculpture Workshop.
Wood Working Facilities
Wood working facilities include:

The college is supported by over 100 dedicated computers providing access to all forms of Digital Media Software. This is mostly on the Mac platform, but the 3D packages are taught in a suite of High End PC's.

- SketchUp Pro
Computer suites are also equipped with scanners and video capture facilities.
Students are offered taught sessions using this software during their course and are also encouraged to use these throughout their time at Dundee as required.
The college has two dedicated sound recording studios available for students to book. These contain Quad Core Mac Pro’s with audio mixing desks and a variety of Audio hardware. Dedicated sound booths with microphones. The software currently used in the sound suites are ProTools 8, Kontakt, Reaktor and Ableton Live.
Bookable Digital Equipment
All students are encouraged to make use of the AV workshop's facilities for booking equipment to aid their studies.

These are all managed by an online booking system that allows students to book equipment in advance.
Photography Studio & Green Screen
The college has a professional photographic studio that all students can use. This comes complete with professional camera stand, full height and table-top setups, different backgrounds and 6 studio flash heads. Students tend to make most use of this documenting their work, but some students produce most of their work here.
In the same room as the photography studio, the recently installed green screen infinity cove is installed. This allows student to film action, replacing the background image later. This has become very popular in recent years.
