Mackenzie Building
The Dental Health Services Research Unit is located in the Mackenzie Building (see little drawing on the second map). Please be guided by the streets around Ninewells map as access restrictions have been placed on roads within the site and the most obvious routes are not available. The East Gate gives access to public car parks but not the Mackenzie Building car park. The West Gate gives access to public carparks and the Mackenzie Building car park [by permission only]. Access from Tom McDonald Road, though easy, may result in an action by the Police if they are on watch. Enter the building from the car park side. The road embraced by a pair of stone thistles, marked as giving access to "Accident and Emergency" only should not be followed for the reasons given. Parking in the streets around the site is restricted, but Ninewells Hospital has a large number of car parks for which a charge is levied on exit. Please note that parking in the Mackenzie Building car park is restricted to staff and permitted guests, with access controlled by a lifting barrier.
