This is a short taxi ride from Dundee City Railway Station or from Dundee Airport, and is accessible by road via the M90 / A90 to the west (from Edinburgh of Glasgow) and the A90 to the north (from Aberdeen).
The plan below shows the main access routes to the city.
If approaching along the A90 (from Perth to the west), turn right at the Swallow Hotel roundabout, go along past the Technology Park, and bear left, soon after the entrance to the Technology Park, and proceed along Perth Road. Take second left at a roundabout (first left is "Accident and Emergency only") and proceed up Ninewells Avenue. The next roundabout (marked by a distinct ring of chevrons) gives access to Ninewells car parking (but not through to the Mackenzie Building by car), via the East Gate of the Ninewells site. The West Gate of the Ninewells site is reached by passing straight on at the East Gate / Ninewells Avanue roundabout and turning left at the next roundabout, followed by a left at a T-junction and thence straight on to Ninewells West Gate (see larger scale map for clearer details). At the West Gate, take an immediate left to reach the open air and multi-story carparks or, if you have permission to park outside the Mackenzie Building only, take the road down to the right, turn right at the mini-round about, and the Mackenzie Building car park is on your right (immediately before the pink-coloured road).
