Brief Biography

Since joining the University of Dundee in 1979 Marilyn has gained experience in several departments including The Secretary's Department, Department of Biological Sciences, Centre for Continuing Education and the Centre for Energy, Petroleum, Mineral Law and Policy. She also studied part-time at the University of Dundee and completed an MBA.

As Unit Administrator in DHSRU, she supports the Director and Programme Directors in managing research programmes, with specific reference to project management, financial and human resource management, dissemination strategy including the organisation of national and international events.

In 2003, DHSRU became part of the Health Informatics Centre (HIC) and Marilyn's HIC-related responsibilities include the development and management of external relations and membership of information technology and management committees.
