Brief Biography

Before joining DHSRU in September 2008, Emma spent over five years as a researcher in the Town & Regional Planning Department at the University of Dundee, working on social inclusion and community regeneration. Prior to this, she was involved in the interface design and evaluation of a computerised communication aid for non-speaking people, a multi-disciplinary project carried out at the University of Abertay, Dundee.

• MA(Hons) in Politics, University of Dundee
• MSc in Applied Computing, University of Dundee

Research Interests

Emma is a researcher working on the development and evaluation of an oral health improvement programme for homeless populations.
