Carol gained a BDes(Hons) in Interior & Environmental Design from the University of Dundee in 2003. She currently works as Research Assistant to Professor Seaton Baxter, with a small amount of tutoring within Design History, Theory & Practice. She is also undertaking an MPhil (Master of Philosophy) with the University, based in The Centre for the Study of Natural Design within the Visual Research Centre, DCA. Her beliefs are embedded in the ever-increasing importance of creating sustainable lifestyles for everyone on this planet through the re-connection of man, his creations and our natural environment. She also believes that to achieve this, people from all the different disciples must work together to create this new way of living. Through her research and beliefs she will continue to transform her field of work through the integration of ecological design principles, sustainability, learning and participatory design processes.
