The School of Design at the University of Dundee has an international reputation of excellence in education and research. Students are attracted from all corners of the world and all our staff are practising designers and researchers.
Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design is ranked as one of the top three art schools in the UK and students are regular winners of national competitions such as Royal Society of Arts Awards, D&AD Awards and Goldsmith bursaries. Graduates have progressed into successful careers in major design studios such as Lambie Nairn, BBC Glasgow and Royal Opera House Covent Garden, or onto postgraduate study with the likes of The Royal College of Art, Central St Martin's College of Art & Design and Goldsmiths College. Many have also set up their own very successful businesses or studios.
