NEW FOR SEPTEMBER 2007!

We are delighted to announce the following two exciting new masters courses in Remote Sensing, based upon the highly acclaimed MSc in Remote Sensing, Image Processing and Remote Sensing, which has been running for over 25 years.

Both remote sensing courses have a common core of modules in Semester 1. Optional modules are then taken in Semester 2 which allow students to specialise in either environmental applications of remote sensing OR computing and image processing.

Funding

Studentships available

We have a small number of funded places available for the both MSc courses. This includes funding from the Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS). In order to be considered for a funded places we would urge applicants to submit an application form by the 1st July.

Overseas Students

We have a significant number of overseas students studying for, and successfully completing the MSc each year and we welcome all applications. The course benefits from being part of the DfID Commowealth Shared Scholarship Scheme, which funds one overseas applicant per year. Please note that competition for this one funded place is extremely high and selection is based upon previous academic experience. Applicants should also note that the University will make the selection (usually in April of each year) and contact the applicant subsequently. You should NOT apply to DfID directly. All applicants who have applied for the course by April of each year will be automatically considered.
