Jim Robertson
Jim ‘JJ’ Robertson a retired Dundee University lecturer who delivered many of our courses for adults has died at the age of 78. Jim was a very popular lecturer who had a passion for all things Italian and who was an outstanding authority on the many Roman archaeological sites in Tayside and Fife and, indeed, throughout Scotland. Jim was actively involved in Continuing Education for over 20 years: organising field trips and delivering numerous courses including, most recently, ‘Latin Literature for Pleasure’ and ‘Robertson’s Roman Ramblings’. Jim will be remembered with great affection by students and fellow tutors with whom he came into contact over the years.
