CMDN Graduate School Office

The College has almost 3000 research and taught postgraduate students in the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing and Midwifery.

The Graduate School office supports postgraduate research and taught activities by; promoting scholarships, developing innovative MSc programmes, and overseeing the College's postgraduate research degree programme which currently has over 250 students.

MRes in Cancer Biology 

This is a smaller version of the MRes cancer Biology image
This exciting programme combines in-depth teaching with an opportunity to gain and hone research skills by offering 6 month projects in leading cancer research labs. The course prepares students for further academic study or research careers in industry.

Two Medical Research Scotland Studentships

 Researchers in the Division of Cancer Research have been awarded funding for two 4-year studentships from Medical Research Scotland to start in autumn 2012. The studentships involve collaborative links with local biotechnology companies and include home/EU fees and generous stipends (£16,000 per annum rising to £16,500).  Further details..
