The College is distinctive in comprising three professional Schools:
These complementary disciplines, encompassed within one over-arching structure, provide a strong framework for multidisciplinary health care education and broadly based, interactive research.
Learning & Teaching
Our aim is to produce health professionals fit for practice in an interdisciplinary, multi-professional, constantly changing NHS. We train doctors, dentists, nurses and midwives at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and an increasing number of other health professionals, in highly innovative curricula.
Research
The College is a centre of excellence in research with major activities spreading from laboratory bench to bedside and from individual patients to population studies.
Partnership with NHS
Our clinical academic staff provide care in many hospital and community settings in close partnership with NHS colleagues.
