Xingzheng Wu holds BSc and MSc degrees in Civil Engineering from Shandong University of Technology (China). His PhD was awarded in 2001 by Dalian University of Technology (China) for work on 3D finite-element analyses. He then worked as a senior research scientist at the Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research (IWHR) in Beijing, with a three-month secondment in Delft. He joined the Division in July 2004 as a postdoctoral research fellow.
