Profile

Dr Anthony Leung joined the University of Dundee as a Lecturer in 2012. During 2007 to 2011, he undertook his PhD at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) on the behaviour of unsaturated soil and stability of soil slope under seasonal variations through comprehensive field monitoring, characterisation of unsaturated soil properties using advanced laboratory apparatuses and three-dimensional numerical back-analyses. He was subsequently appointed as a Post-doctoral Fellow at HKUST working on the effects of vegetation on the performance of soil slopes and landfill caps.
