James L. Gunderson is the General Counsel, Secretary and Chief Governance Officer of Vetco International. He is also the owner and Chief Executive of Governance and Transactions LLC, an advisory firm assisting boards and management with governance, compliance programs, and management of strategic transactions.
Mr Gunderson has 20 years of experience advising leading companies in the petroleum, energy utility, telecom and semiconductor equipment industries. He is on the governance training faculty of the National Association of Corporate Directors in the U.S., and a director of that group's New York chapter.
He received a BA degree in philosophy from the University of California, Santa Cruz and is a graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
