Dr Andres Rigo, a Spanish national, is a former Deputy General Counsel of the World Bank. He serves as member and president of arbitral tribunals in commercial disputes, and disputes between investors and states. Dr Rigo is also a member of various international law associations, and author of numerous publications on international legal issues related to economic development, international organizations and arbitration. He holds a law degree from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid and a Ph. D. degree from Cambridge University.
