CEPMLP ready to accept China Scholarship Commission PhD students
CEPMLP is prepared to receive a maximum of two PhD students under the China Scholarship Commission scheme each year, for a maximum period of twelve months. This initiative reflects the priority placed on energy and the environment by the China Scholarship Commission.
CEPMLP will select the students on the basis of their academic record, the quality of their PhD proposal and of their proposed work plan at CEPMLP, the relevance of their proposed research to CEPMLP's research interests, and their level of English language.
If you wish to apply to come to CEPMLP under this scheme, please submit the following documents:

your CV/resume (in English)

an outline of your PhD research and a study plan for your time at CEPMLP (in English)

a support letter from your academic supervisor at your institute (in English)

certificate showing that in an international test of English language ability you have reached a score of 6.0 of greater in the IELTS test ( equivalent to 550 TOEFL paper, 210 TOEFL CBT, 78 TOEFL IBT)
You will also need to be able and willing to pay a bench fee of one thousand pounds for a 12 month period, or reduced proportionately for shorter periods.
CEPMLP may also want to undertake an interview by video-conference.
