Research

The research has been designed to explore critically the political economy of implementation of reform of pricing and subsidisation of domestic petroleum products in Nigeria's downstream petroleum sector - looking closely at the contentious issue of subsidy removal especially from the stakeholder's perspective. Hence, the thesis intends to analyse and formulate an institutional framework and strategy that addresses the contentious issues involved in petroleum products price and subsidy reform implementation in Nigeria.
