Petrolem & Energy Economics

Full-time Lecturer/Senior Lecturer

Salary:  £26,455 - £37,629 (up to 5 years fixed term)

The Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP) is the leading international institution for post-graduate teaching and research in its areas of expertise, and attracts some 100 post-graduate students per year from across the world to its Masters and Doctorate Programmes.  CEPMLP provides extensive professional training and consultancy for international agencies, governments and multinational companies.

A full-time post is now available for an economist specialising in petroleum and/or energy economics to assist in the development of our rapidly growing MSc in Energy Studies and to join our active research team.

Candidates should have a good first degree in Economics and a post-graduate degree in Economics, and have a few years experience of petroleum or energy economics, either in academia or in industry.  The applicant should be self-motivated and capable of working within a multi-cultural team.  Appointment at senior level will require a substantial track record of published research.
