Professor Thomas Wälde and Elizabeth Bastida
A CEPMLP team consisting of Professor Thomas Wälde and Elizabeth Bastida has been awarded a research grant by the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators/AIPN, jointly with Prof Weaver of the University of Houston and David Asmus of leading Texas law firm Baker & Botts, to prepare a study on comparative and international oil&gas unitisation methods.

In addition Professor Wälde, together with the eminent French international economic law scholar Philippe Kahn of CREDIMI in Dijon, has been invited to lead the Hague Academy on International Law's annual advanced research seminar on international investment law in 2004.
