A team of 6 CEPMLP students won the best presentation prize at a business competition at the University of St Andrews in December 2008. The team narrowly missed out on winning the overall competition which is a business simulation exercise based on the luxury car market in Europe.
The month long competition required the contestants to look at a wide range of business decisions including finance, human resources, strategy, marketing, and research and development. Some of the judges for the competition included Douglas Mundie (Director and Chief Executive of Eden River Associates), Richard Mansbridge (RBS Global Account Manager for Microsoft Corp) and Stephen Westwood (Director of Stephen Westwood Consulting and Representative of the Institute of Directors). The CEPMLP team was led by MBA student Robert Lockhart and the members were Innocent Oriaku, Isaiah Adeleke, Olaniji Adedapo Aisida, Olumide Olu Agunbiade, and Opeyemi Osiyemi.
