CENTRE ANNUAL REVIEW 2001

INTRODUCTION

We are glad to bring you the 5^th Edition of the Centre Annual Review. The papers profiled represent the diverse topics and issues considered over the year 2000/2001. The issues cover areas extending from water law, mineral law, and environmental law to energy law. The papers reflect the multi-disciplinary background of the Centre as they are not limited to legal issues but also cover a range of economic and geological issues.

This year's edition is the result of the relentless effort of the editorial team members
