School of the Environment

The School of the Environment is a vibrant and ambitious teaching and research community, with a commitment to excellence in all that we do. Social and environmental issues are at the very heart of the World's problems today and finding solutions to the challenges these bring underpin both the distinctive degree programmes we offer and our research mission.

The School of the Environment is an integrated cross-disciplinary School comprising Architecture, Geography with Environmental Science and Town & Regional Planning

Our team of over forty staff take a pride in their research-led teaching and the high quality of our MA and BSc degree programmes, our unique suite of Master's courses and our supervision of PhD students. Our staff members are also rightly proud of their innovation in teaching, their enthusiasm, their approachability and their open-door policy to students. Overall we are committed to producing graduates at all levels that have the key skills that employers seek and our reputation for the high employment prospects of our graduates is well established.
