The College is fully committed to the commercialisation of research. We currently have many links with industrial and public sector partners across academic disciplines in the form of CASE studentships, industrial collaborations, research collaborations, research awards, spin-out and start-up companies.
Spin-out companies
Spin-out companies which have emerged over the past few years include:
- Circaconnect Ltd (formerly Living in the Moment Ltd) based on devleopment of software to help dementia sufferers and their carers by using long term memory to help stimulate the short term one.
- STAR Dundee which specialise in supporting users and developers of SpaceWire technology. SpaceWire is a standard for data communications onboard satellites and spacecraft.
