Part-Time Jobs Fair


The Part-Time Jobs Fair 2012 will take place on during Welcome Week in September 2012 at the Marquee, Campus Green, University of Dundee.

This FREE event is open to University of Dundee graduates and students. You do not need to book to reserve a place - just turn up on the day!

Brook Street
Brook Street is a recruitment agency in Dundee. We recruit a lot of students for temporary assignments such as catering, hospitality, administration and light industrial work. Brook Street attended a similar fair at the University last year which resulted in quite a few students registering with us and working on assignments. So please come and talk to us to find out what opportunities are available to you!

DUSA (Dundee University Students Association)
The Union, based on campus, provides casual work for around 250 students working in various departments - bars, retail, customer safety, catering, events crew and PR. We realise your studying is important and offer hours to accommodate.
We accept applications all year round and hold until vacancies become available.

e-Placement Scotland
e-Placement Scotland provides students with access to paid, quality, placements in the IT sector, for students on computing or technology courses or who wish to gain experience in the technology industry. The placements on offer vary from full time over summer (3 months), part-time over a year, or even full time for a whole year. To be eligible to take a paid placement through e-Placement Scotland, applicants need to be registered as a student at any one of Scotland's Universities or Colleges, and must be returning to study after the placement has finished (not necessarily to the same course or institution).

    University of Dundee: Placement Base
    The Placement Base is Dundee University Careers Service 'one-stop-shop' for internships and work experience placements. The Employer Liaison Team who are based in the Placement Base are working to find as many students within the University a work experience placement and therefore help to increase their employability after graduation.     YMCA Scotland
    YMCA Scotland is part of a global Christian youth work organisation working in local communities across Scotland to serve the needs of vulnerable children, young people and families we seek to support young people to achieve their fullest potential.
    We have launched a programme of international opportunities to support young people, staff and volunteers to experience some of the fantastic life changing opportunities available within an organisation that works in over 125 countries in the world.
    We have teamed up with one of the largest YMCAs in the World, to offer the opportunity for young people (18-30) the chance to participate in ICCP (International Camp Counsellors Programme), bringing together young people from all over the world to serve as staff at day and residential camps throughout the USA for up to 12 weeks throughout the summer with the further opportunity to stay in the US for up to a further 30 days.
