Third Sector Internships Scotland (TSIS) finds current students at Scottish universities paid work experience with voluntary organisations, charities, community groups and social enterprises.  Internships are offered through a real-life,  competitive recruitment process enabling you to develop your application and interview skills.  The current internships are offered on a part-time basis to fit around your study requirements and paid at the Scottish  Living Wage (£7.65 per hour). Transport Scotland

Transport Scotland is the national transport agency for Scotland. As an agency of the Scottish Government, they are accountable to Parliament and the public through Scottish Ministers.  Responsibilities include rail and trunk road networks, major public transport projects, national concessionary travel schemes, road safety, policy development, and ferries, ports and harbours. 

Transport Scotland will be recruiting for two graduates to join our accredited Graduate Training Scheme on a permanent basis. These jobs will be open to students graduating before Autumn 2014 and will commence as soon as studies are complete. We will also be recruiting for Summer Placement students for a period of up to 13 weeks to commence in June 2014.  These positions are open to students in all year groups. One Sandwich Placement of up to 50 weeks is also available to a student on a relevant sandwich course.

We have 21 departments offering over 75 taught Masters programmes and all departments offer PhD level courses too.

Most taught courses require 2 semesters of full-time study, followed by a period of research, which culminates in the submission of a dissertation of up to 15,000 words.
