The Dundee Careers Fair will take place on Wednesday 28th October 2015, 11am - 2.30pm, Bonar Hall, Park Place.

University of St Andrews

The University of St Andrews is the oldest University in Scotland and the 3rd oldest in the UK. Consistently ranked amongst the top-5 universities in the UK, St Andrews is renowned for its teaching excellence and the impressive range of research conducted by our staff.

We have 21 departments offering over 75 taught Masters programmes and all departments offer PhD level courses too.

Most taught courses require 2 semesters of full-time study, followed by a period of research, which culminates in the submission of a dissertation of up to 15,000 words.

Our PhD programmes are normally 3 years duration but the majority of candidates complete a preparatory year-long programme first. Prospective research students are advised to contact the department of interest in the first instance.

Wild Packs Summer Camps

Wild Packs Summer Camps is an international organisation that recruits hundreds of students and young people each year and helps them find employment at children’s summer camps across the USA. We guide and support applicants throughout the entire process from completing the application form, to getting hired by a camp and obtaining a J-1 Visa.

Each year Wild Packs offers hundreds of students and young people the unique opportunity to spend up to 3 months working and travelling in the USA as a summer camp counsellor. There are no specific requirements for this role other than enthusiasm for working with children and the desire to become a positive role model. Whilst it is not essential, it is certainly helpful to your application if you have experience (and would be willing to teach) in any of the following areas; lifeguarding/swimming, water-sports, performing arts, creative arts, land sports, equestrianism, media arts, music, outdoor adventure…and the list goes on!
