PECOS
Training workstream
The training workstream aims to:
- assist users in gaining the knowledge required to use the PECOS system to perform their procurement activities used in their day-to-day jobs.
Training format
The format of the training will be classroom based and will take each user through each process such as: logging on to the system; searching for the required items and previous orders; and raising a purchase order.
Role-based training
The training will be role based and therefore a user will only be trained in the processesthey are required to do their part in the procurement process and related activities.
Benefits
The Training workstream:
- will give users of the system the confidence they need to use it
- provide consistent training of all users
- will provide a route for users to address any issues they have with the operation of the software or with the improved business processes
- has employed an independent training co-ordinator to ensure that best practice is adopted throughout the training stage and to help support users during the go-live stage.
- provide comprehensive and easy-to-follow training documentation that will be available after go-live
