Professor John Dewhurst holds a Chair in Economic, Social and Regional Statistics. He graduated from the University of Cambridge (Economics Tripos) and gained a masters degree in Quantitative Social Studies from the University of Kent at Canterbury and his Ph.D. from the University of Dundee. He is a Chartered Statistician.

External Affiliations

John Dewhurst is a past Chairman of the Regional Science Association International: British & Irish Section. He was Series Editor of European Research in Regional Science, and a past European Editor of Papers in Regional Science. He has held visiting positions at the University of Queensland and at Kansas State University.
